Agistatin E
Application Notes
Agistatin E is a pyranacetal isolated from Fusarium sp, with an unusual tricyclic structures with a characteristic ketal moiety at C-2. The agistatins inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis and were patented for this purpose in 1992.
