Probetaenone I
Application Notes
Probetaenone I was isolated as a biosynthetic precursor of betaenone B by Oikawa and co-workers in 1988. Probetaenone I is a phytotoxic metabolite isolated from Phoma betae Fr., a causal fungus of leaf spot disease on sugar beet.
