Application Notes
T2 toxin tetraol is a Type A trichothecene mycotoxin found in trace amounts in grains infected with Fusarium sp.. T2 toxin tetraol is a metabolite of T2 toxin formed in vivo by hydrolysis. T2 toxin tetraol is the least cytotoxic of the metabolites of T2 toxin in porcine Leydig cells and yeast (Kluyveromyces marxianus).
