Application Notes
Panowamycin B is a isochroman isolated from a Streptomyces species by Omura and colleagues at the Kitasato Institute, Japan. Panowamycin B is moderately active against trypanosomes, with an IC50 of 3.30 μg/mL. Panowamycin B is an analogue of NFAT-133, a polyketide compound with immunosuppressive, antidiabetic and antitrypanosomal activities.
