Panowamycin A
Application Notes
Panowamycin A is an isochroman isolated from a Streptomyces species by Omura and colleagues at the Kitasato Institute, Japan. Panowamycin A is moderately active against trypanosomes, with an IC50 of 0.40 μg/mL. Panowamycin A is an analogue of NFAT-133, a polyketide compound with immunosuppressive, antidiabetic and antitrypanosomal activities.
