Milbemycins are a class of macrocyclic lactones with acaricidal, nematocidal and insecticidal activity. Milbemeycins are related to the avermectins but lack the sugar substituent of the latter class. The six analogues in the Milbemycin Analogue Set represent the two commercial products in this class, milbemectin, an agri-chemical insecticide, and milbemycin oxime, used as an anthelmintic, as well as their respective major components.
