Application Notes
N-Methylcanadium iodide (canadine α-methiodide) is a quinolizidine constituent of Xanthoxylum ocumarense, a member of the Rutaceae family, isolated by Taylor and colleagues at the University of Sydney, Australia in 1953. N-Methylcanadium iodide has also been isolated from menispermaceous plants. There are no published reports of its biological activity.
