Application Notes

Granatomycin E is benzoisochromanequinone polyketide produced by Streptomyces sp.. Granatomycin E is the ring-opened form of granatacin A. The biological activity of granatomycin E has not been extensively studied, however, members of the granaticin family have marked antibiotic and antitumor activity.
