Enterobactin, apo-
Application Notes
apo-Enterobactin is the ring-opened form of enterobactin (enterochelin). apo-Enterobactin is a catecholate siderophore and a potent inhibitor of methylperoxidase (MPO) and lactoperoxidase (LPO) activity in the inflamed gut, reducing MPO activity in a dose-related manner.
