Deoxaphomin
Application Notes
Deoxaphomin is a member of the cytochalasin family, first isolated and elucidated by Binder and Tamm, Basel University, Switzerland in 1973. Deoxaphomin is a potently active phytotoxin and antifungal. Deoxaphomin inhibits root elongation in wheat and tomato seedlings and is toxic to the perennial weeds, Cirsium arvense and Sonchus arvensis. Deoxaphomin inhibits the mycelial growth of Phytophthera cactorum.
