Application Notes
T2 toxin triol is a Type A trichothecene mycotoxin found in trace amounts in grains infected with Fusarium sp.. T2 toxin triol is a metabolite of T2 toxin formed in vivo by hydrolysis. T2 toxin triol is more cytotoxic than T2 toxin tetraol and neosolaniol, but less potent than T2 toxin, in porcine Leydig cells and yeast (Kluyveromyces marxianus).
