Application Notes
Roccellic acid is a methyldodecylsuccinic acid isolated from Roccella spp. over 150 years ago, with the structure fully elucidated by Akermark in 1962. Roccellic acid is active against the oral bacteria, Streptococcus gordonii and Porphyromonas gingivalis.
