Application Notes

Pulvinamide is a yellow tetronic acid pigment isolated from the lichen Pseudocyphellaria crocata and other related species. Pulvinamide is a key biosynthetic intermediate for the biogenesis of pulvinic acid and its derivatives. Pulvinamide has weak antibacterial activity.
