Application Notes

Onychocin B is an N-methylated cyclotetrapeptide, similar in structure to hirsutide, originally isolated from the fungus Onychocola sclerotic. Onychocin B is a cardiac calcium channel blocker but does not inhibit the hERG potassium channel. Onychocin B moderately inhibits the proliferation of mouse myeloma cells in a dose-dependent manner with an IC50 of 23.1 µg/mL.
