Application Notes

LL 15G256α is a macrocyclic polyester isolated from Hypoxylon oceanicum LL-15G256 using a bioassay guided approach. LL 15G256α is active in the os-1 assay, inhibiting biosynthesis of the fungal cell wall. LL 15G256α was patented by American Cyanamid in 1998 but did not reach the market.
