Application Notes
Isochlortetracycline (isoaureomycin) is a base-catalysed degradation product of chlortetracycline. Isochlortetracycline is an important standard for the detection of chlortetracycline residues in animals and the environment with over 100 entries in Scifinder up to 2016 listing its applications. Little is known of the bioactivity of isochlortetracyline.
