Hydroxymitorubrin, 3-
Application Notes
3-Hydroxymitorubrin is the 3-hydroxy derivative of mitorubrin, an azaphilone isolated from the phytotoxic fungus, Penicillium rubrum. The biological activity of 3-hydroxymitorubrin has not been studied, however mitorubrin is a weak antifungal and inhibitor of geranylgeranyl transferase.
