Geministatin D
Application Notes
Geministatin D is a minor metabolite and degradation product of geministatin A, a recently described depside antibiotic isolated from the fungus Austroacremonium gemini. Geministatin D is formed by acid hydrolysis of the depside ester in acetone. Geministatin D exhibits modest antifungal and antibacterial activity and weak cytotoxic activity.
