Application Notes
N-Demethylerythromycin A is a minor co-metabolite of erythromycin produced by Saccharopolyspora erythreae. N-Demethylerythromycin A exhibits a very narrow spectrum of antibiotic activity and is much less active than erythromycins A, B and C.
