Application Notes

7-Dechlorogriseofulvin is co-produced with griseofulvin by Penicillium sp.. 7-Dechlorogrisefulvin has antifungal activity, albeit less potent than griseofulvin. 7-Dechlorogriseofulvin inhibits HCT116, MCF-7 and K562 cell lines, inducing apoptosis.
