Canadensolide
Application Notes
Canadensolide was first reported in 1968 as a metabolite produced by Penicillium canadense by McCorkindale and colleagues at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Canadensolide was initially reported as the active metabolite in culture filtrates able to inhibit the germination of fungi, e.g. Botrytis, but no data on its wider biological activity has been published.
