Asperindole E
Application Notes
Asperindole E is an indole-diterpene alkaloid isolated from a strain of Aspergillus candidus associated with the South China Sea gorgonian coral, Junceela fragilis, by Zhang and coworkers in 2021. Asperindole E is the deacetyl analogue of asperindole B. Asperindole E was tested for neuronal modulatory activities but found inactive. No further evaluation of this metabolite has been reported.
