Application Notes

Apicidin C is the valine analogue of the rare cyclic tetrapeptide, apicidin, produced by Fusarium sp.. The apicidins are histone deacetylase inhibitors and have potent and broad spectrum antitumor, antiparasitic and antiprotozoan activity. The apicidins inhibit quorum sensing in bacterial infections.
