Application Notes

Agonodepside B and agonodepside A were isolated from a non-sporulating filamentous fungus in 2002. Agonodepside A but not its B analogue inhibits the mycobacterial InhA enzyme. Lack of availability has limited further investigation of the pharmacology of the agonodepsides.
