Aeruginoic acid
Application Notes
Aeruginoic acid (2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-4-thiazolecarboxylic acid) is a siderophore produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Aeruginoic acid has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and hypotensive activity. Aeruginoic acid is a shunt product in the pyochelin biosynthesis pathway observed in Pseudomonas and Burkholderia spp.
