Application Notes
Stachydrine (proline betaine) is a naturally occurring alkaloid found in citrus and other fruits. Stachydrine was originally isolated from Capparis tomentosa by Cornforth and Henry in 1952. Stachydrine is reported to have cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, neuroprotective, anticancer, antiinflammatory and other activities.
