Application Notes

Leptospermone is a β-triketone originally isolated from Leptospermum sp. in the 1920s. Leptospermone is a plant growth regulator and herbicide. Leptospermone is a reversible inhibitor of P-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD). Leptospermone is active against common food-borne bacteria and the anaerobes, C. difficile and C. perfringens.
