Ilicicolin H
Application Notes
Ilicicolin H was first isolated by Hayakawa and co-workers, Shionogi & Co. Ltd, Japan from Cylindrocladium ilicicola in 1971. Ilicicolin H is a polyketide-nonribosomal peptide synthase (NRPS) with antitumor and antibacterial activity. Ilicicolin H is a potent, broad-spectrum antifungal agent and a potent inhibitor of mitochondrial respiration in yeast by binding to the Qn site of the cytochrome bc1 complex.
