Application Notes

ECO 02301 is a rare linear polyketide discovered using genome-guided structural determination by McAlpine and co-workers at Ecopia Biosciences in 2004. ECO 02301 has potent antifungal activity in vitro and in vivo and was patented as an antifungal agent. Lack of availability has hindered further investigation into its biological profile.
