Dehydrogriseofulvin
Application Notes
Dehydrogriseofulvin is the biosynthetic precursor of the spirobenzofuran antifungal, griseofulvin, produced by Penicillium sp.. Griseofulvin itself is a potent antifungal that acts by binding to fungal tubulin and inhibiting the mitotic spindle.
