Application Notes

Ampelanol is a ring-extended tetralone reported in 2008 by Proksch and coworkers from an endophytic fungus of the genus Ampelomyces associated with the medicinal plant, Urospermum picroides. Ampelanol has moderate cytotoxicity against the murine lymphoma cell line but is devoid of antibacterial activity.
