Application Notes

Erythromycin 2-propionate is the propionic acid ester precursor of erythromycin, the 14-membered macrocyclic lactone produced by Streptomyces erythreus. Erythromycin propionate displays an MIC of 0.01 – 0.05 ug/mL when tested against Micrococcus luteus.
